north of the mason-dixon line. particularly york and lancaster county. may pass to northern carroll county. you can see that one cell at extreme northern sections of baltimore and harford county. still, we'll keep watching this for you. the entire state. with the exception of extreme southern maryland. and extremelier-- extreme lower eastern shore. 89 degrees. compared to 75, 76 yesterday. dew points up to 64. winds southwest at 5. barometer 29.98, falling a tad. the entire region, as i mentioned, with extreme southern maryland, under that watch until late tonight. 89 here. 91 in hagerstown. 80 in ocean city. 93 in washington. that's going to drop with the rain headed our way. cool spot, oakland, at 79 degrees. wind has been out of the south and southwest, which brought this unusually warm air in across the eastern united states. yes, the entire east. to our north, a frontal boundary we told you about. getting very close. the front is going to stall out just across the mason-dixon line. so we will not get into the really cool air until the latter part of the weekend. see these showe

the allegheny front, mason dixon line, we're talking about a little shower activity possible with the passage of that frontal system, very isolated and as we have move through to the later part of the week, we'll also end up seeing an upper level disturbance and that will set us up for some much needed rainfall. in the meantime tomorrow we won't be too bad at all, sun and clouds, by midday around 75 degrees and we are talking tonight once again about just seeing partly cloudy conditions with mostly the clouds starting to wane their way out in the overnight hours, 63 degrees for our overnight low and for tomorrow plenty of sunshine, not bad at all at 80 degrees. here's a look at our five-day forecast for you. that ump level disturbance looking at bringing up -- upper level disturbance looking at bringing up a chance of thunderstorms wednesday and thursday. right now it's a 30% chance mainly to the north of us, but we'll have to watch it closely. we are peaking up to 90 degrees wednesday and will, i know you don't like that humidity i'm always talking about. it will be coming back at least brie

this has a better chance of seeing thunderstorms, abe mae few strong ones then say south of the mason-dixon line. eastern kentucky have a few there. our 9 four cast, you can see by this evening we've popped a few thunderstorms. however, the heart them will be up with this front across areas like scranton to perhaps williams port and north of pittsburgh even upstate new york could see some of that. we'll go through the day tonight into tomorrow morning. we start quiet. front sort of breaks up. cold front moves east and the action moves back to the midwest. they're going to see more showers and storms. we may once again pop a stray storm in the afternoon on the ridge tops. generally out to the west and as we head into friday look at this. we're well in the warm sector. the low is almost in canada with the warm front up into ontario. we're going to be sitting for three days of some pretty serious temperatures around here, especially for late september. high temperatures today look winchester, culpeper 93. about 83 just because the water temperatures on the bay is going to keep annapolis cooler

maryland. we have a frontal system just up across the mason dixon line, and it is going to stall there, which means tomorrow we'll have another hot one. our temperature today, 95. maybe it won't get to 95. we tied a record, by the way, at dulles, 94, was also set in 1980, bwi 1981. but the heat is holding on for the first full day of fall. we'll be into the low 90s again so prepare for that and you'll notice the humidity as well. it's not going to last forever. we have changes coming. it will be hot tomorrow and friday, but i want you to see the temperature trend because as we go through the next several days, we'll have an improvement for saturday. could be a couple of showers in the mix and maybe even a pop-up shower in the afternoon tomorrow but we don't see the trigger for the round of severe storms like we had today. it is 83 degrees. remember just a few nights ago when we were into the 40s and 50s. forget about it, you've got to get the air conditioning going tonight. just to the north, it's 69 in pittsburgh and 64 in binghamtown. that's not going to get in here. that will stall

by mason-dixon that showed 71% of all nevadans think that's the biggest issue facing the country. that's what people are really concerned about. to an extent, all these ancillary issues, all of the gaffes the candidates made on the campaign trail are really irrelevant to people who are looking for jobs who can't find jobs and that, i think, has bedevilled harry reid. one of the reasons his numbers aren't higher and angle's been able to exploit that a little bit. if that's what the voters go to the poll to decide the election, harry reid could lose. >> the anti-incumbent mood is at an all-time high, yet reid has been in congress since 1992. how is he proving, hey, put me back in there? i'll do a better job this time helping you guys get jobs. >> well, he's really having a difficult time proving that. harry reid has not only been in congress a long time, but he's also the majority leader of the democrats in the senate. he's tied to the barack obama agenda. and now even democrats are coming out and saying, look, the president's been focusing on a lot of things, health care and what not. b

weaer there. a look at regional doppler. fading away rain drops right on the old mason/dixon line, t maryland/pennsylvania border. one or two sprinkles cannot be ruled out. that air comes downhill. it warms up and it drys out. not mu of a rain threat in washington tod but ther's still a couple more rain drops in central ohio so can't completely give you the rain-free forecast the further north and west you go. anybody that even gets a raindrop or two today probably not going to be any more than a few hundredths of an inch. out ahead of a weather front ming through here late this evening and into the overnight hours. it's is it till a good ways up to the north and west but, again, toasty warm out ahead of the front. winds will come back around. that will put temperatures up into the mid-80s today. here is hurricane igor, now just a couple hundred miles to the south of bermuda. this little speck here is the island of bermuda. the storm is just now starting to jog a little bi more onto a northern track so that might keep the eye wall itself about ten miles offshore from bermuda but, non
